Bring your camera and learn when and how to use its special features. Learn about program mode, manual mode, aperture priority and shutter priority. We will cover cover basic composition and best use of light. Learn how to approach pictures of plants, people, macro shots, and landscape photography. Join pro photographer Steve McGrath in a workshop to learn how to use your digital camera in nature. Expect to:Improve your photographic technique when shooting in nature. Understand the settings of your cameraUnderstand what you need to compose a professional looking photograph. Practice what you’ve learned outside in the woods with Steve on hand to give you tips. Have plenty of pictures and new skills to take home.Schedule:In this First Class, there will be a short presentation. We will discuss tips and techniques for getting great photographs. Then off to the outdoors to photographs. Make sure you bring you tripod/monopod and the longest lens you have. Instructor: Steve McGrathSteve McGrath is an award winning professional freelance photographer of 30 years. Steve began shooting sports, weddings, and stock photography. His love of the outdoors led him to focusing on his true passion of nature photography and teaching. Many of his images have been published. His favorite places to photograph are Acadia National Park, the Green Mountains, and the Cape Cod National Seashore. Education: New York Institute of Photography Graduated 1994.
