Established Lancaster, PA alternative/prog rock band, Two Dollar Horse, is looking for a bass player We recently released our first EP in July 2022. You can check out the EP on Spotify or head to our website twodollarhorse.com We’re looking for a bass player in our age range (25-35). Our version of rock music balances the use of catchy hooks and interesting time signatures and scales. That being said, the best fit for us will be someone knowledgeable in music theory who can quickly pick up some of the more intricate parts of our songs by ear. The 3 of us are dedicated to taking the project to the next level - reaching a bigger audience, playing regular gigs, and releasing new studio singles every 6-8 weeks. Our ideal bass player is someone who shares those goals with us, is able to fluidly contribute in the writing room, and is someone who wants to become a permanent member of the band in the long run. We currently have two stand in bass players, so we are willing to take our time to find the best fit for us We practice in Lancaster city on Thursday nights and Sunday mornings.
