Description
I’m looking for stories about ACS group homes. Specifically, the large children’s shelter in Manhattan- Nicholas Scoppetta Children’s Center. But would be interested in hearing stories about similar group home environments.
Are these places well run? Do the kids feel safe? Are they fed well - what kind of food do they eat? What’s the staff like? What happens in a kid gets sick? What do the kids do all day? Are any of the kids happy to be there? How crowded are they? How’s discipline handled?
I know these are intrusive questions, so thank you in advance for reading and sharing if you choose.
