PROGRAM Locating My Lost Zayde Lazar in the Cootamundra Herald. How DNA and research can combine in finding relatives thought to be forever lost in family history. Laura Kerben LaBoda is a retired secondary science teacher in Volusia County Schools. She became interested in genealogy through her cousin and former JGSGO President Larry Morrell. As a longtime member of JGSGO she has learned of the quality and amount of information that is available documenting the Jews post Holocaust. She has been successful in documenting much of her grandparents' family including use of records in Radom, Poland, and a visit to their residence in a nearby shtetl. Recent research led her to a new success story of discoveries in Australia.
