Come take a closer look at the magical world around you. In this series, we will be investigating the fungi kingdom and how they contribute to our lives. Bring your family and friends, or join on your own as you investigate your local park in a new way. Together we will: Hear about what sets fungi apartLook for fungi on a scavenger huntFeel the textures of mushrooms and lichenTaste and smell mushroomsWhat you need to bring: Bottle of water, sun hat, adventurous spirit, ready for fun attitude What will be provided: We will provide investigative tools, such as magnifying glasses, hand microscopes, and field guides, as well as a scavenger hunt handout and assorted mushrooms to touch and taste. Maximum of 15 participants per session. Children must be accompanied by adult with ticket. **Note: the venue does not have a bathroom onsite, but there is a gas station down the street. Please plan ahead.
