ABOUT THE EVENT: Tired of the Zoom happy hours and awkward Tinder dates? Looking to make more meaningful connections rather than forgettable drunk hookups? Well, you're in luck! SeroTunein, a native-DMV podcast show, in collab with Bonbuz and local DC alcohol-free beverage partners, are hosting a mixer event to help you meet new people in the D.C. area while you play games and sip on some bangin' drinks that offer a natural buzz. This mixer event will give you the opportunity to meet people your age and teach you how to make tasty alcohol-free cocktails while giving you a chill time to socialize (this event is catered towards BIPOC who are in their 20s-30s, but others are still welcome! :). ABOUT THE VENUE: We're partnering with our favorite pop-up bars, Umbrella Dry Drinks. This lively and intimate bottle shop is located right on King Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and the event will be held at the Seedling Collective building. ***Note: We recommend getting to the area early to find parking. Some parking can be found on the street or at Market Square by City Hall. HOW TO REGISTER: Purchase a ticket and check for a confirmation email to see if it's been processed. WHAT TO EXPECT: When you arrive, one of our volunteer hosts will walk you through step-by-step on how to make a few signature Bonbuz spirit-free drinks and by the end, you'll have an expertly crafted non-alcoholic cocktail to enjoy for the rest of the event. Feel free to partner up with someone new and work together to make the perfect booze-free cocktail to sip on for the evening! After you've made your drink, feel free to pick out some conversation starters, meet new people, walk around the shop, and have fun!
