Warming Up the House: a House and Hustle eventDate: December 10th Time: 3:30pm - 10pm Venue: The Woods 1512 11th Ave Seattle, WA 98122-2422 Format: 1 vs 1 House Battles 2 vs 2 Jack and Jill Hustle Battles Judges: House Judge: Ejoe Wilson (NYC) Hustle Judges: Beth and Louie (NYC) Main Event DJs: Magic Sean (Seattle) Jiwa (Oakland) MCs: Tracey & Jake London (Seattle) After Party DJ's: Ejoe Wilson (NYC) Joey Webb (Bay Area/SEA) Entry Fee: $20 - $40 Sliding Scale (same price for spectators and battle entries - price is for entry to the event not per category) Prizes: Cash Prize + Trichome Gift Cards. ***TICKETS/PRICING*** Hustle and Soul is committed to creating events and spaces that are accessible to people of all economic backgrounds. We believe that these dance forms and cultures that began in the clubs and streets didn't start with people who had lots of money and therefore money should not be a barrier to entry. Although we would love to make this event free for all, the reality of putting on events is much more costly. In this light we are offering a sliding scale for entry to The Main Event starting at $20.00 and scaling at $5.00 increments up to $40.00. We ask that, if you have the capacity, to contribute as much as you can so that we may comfortably pay all of our DJ's, Judges, Venues and continue to put on more community events such as this. We are also adding a "Pay It Forward" option to help support those who may need it. If you would like to donate a ticket for another individual please add the "Pay It Forward" option to your cart in addition to the Tier you will be purchasing. If you would like to contribute more, feel free to increase the quantity. We thank you for your generosity!
