Prepare for the “Turning of the Year” as we head into a time of less natural light and a season that can be challenging for many, even as it can also bring joy.
People of any faith, or people expressing no faith, are welcome to an informal opportunity to participate in healing prayer for any concern you wish to bring, personal, global, or in between, as we prepare ourselves for the difficulties as well as the gifts of late fall and winter.
Guests will be able to meet privately briefly with one of two (three?) people trained in healing prayer for 5-7 minutes or longer if time allows. You may choose to meet either sitting / standing inside our worship space or sitting / standing in a quiet area that is not in our worship space.
Whether or not you choose to have a conversation with one of our volunteers in the healing prayer ministry, you may sit on your own or with loved ones in our quiet worship space or be our guests for coffee, tea, non-alcoholic apple cider, snacks, and conversation at tables in our adjoining Parish Hall. If weather permits, walk our labyrinth or sit in our Meditation Garden.
Many of us are LGBTQIA. Persons of any gender identity or expression (or none at all) are most welcome. Guests of all ages and religious affiliations (or with no religious affiliation at all) are also most welcome. A ramp for ease of access is to the far left of the building as you face it, and greeters will be available for help as well.
Our Parish follows or exceeds local guidelines for covid safety. At the time of this writing, that includes everyone’s wearing masks inside the building. Masks will be provided at the door.
