We are so excited to officially celebrate the 20th Annual Jack Strachan Memorial Dance! For those of you who are new to this event, here is a little bit of information about us. Every year our family celebrates the life of our father Jack Strachan, by holding a memorial dance in his name. This event is a way to honor his memory while also doing something good for the people and community around us. Jack loved nothing more than being with the people he loved most. Unfortunately due to the increasing costs of food prices, we will have to increase ticket prices to $125 per ticket. You will get 2 free drink tickets per each ticket purchased. The proceeds from this years event will be going to Adopt a Family. Adopt a Family is an organization that helps families from our community in need. They are in touch with local school nurses to help find the families that are in desperate need of essentials. The personal information about the families is kept confidential. This year Adopt a Family will provide clothing from top to bottom for eleven families. They also get a Christmas lists from each family and provide everything on their list. They wrap each gift and present them with these gifts in time for Christmas. Every child will have gifts addressed from Santa. Adopt a Family follows these families throughout the year to ensure they are provided for. Our Dad would be so proud to be a part of helping these families out. The Jack Strachan Memorial Dance will also continue the tradition of providing scholarships to area high school students. A scholarship will be awarded to a student from Attleboro High School, Bishop Feehan High School, and North Attleboro High School. For over a decade we have been fortunate enough to have the entertainment of the high-energy band, THOSE GUYS they donate their talents and time to Jack's event. This year will be no different.
