On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Brick by Brick: Lego Shipbuilding will return to the Half Moone Cruise Terminal in downtown Norfolk. The event is completely FREE of charge and runs from 10am to 4pm. This event will include a Lego shipbuilding contest (either bring a ship that you built at home or build one on-site), build-a-ship activities with designs made by Hampton Roads Naval Museum staff, crafts, robotics, ship displays, free-play areas for both Legos and Duplos, and much more! Activities are available for kids of all ages. A sensory room is also available for families who need some quiet time during the event. Parking will cost $5 in the Norfolk city garages (cash or credit), and food and gifts will be available for purchase. If you're bringing a ship from home to enter in the contest, pre-register your ship via this Google Form.
