Welcome to the first annual Setter Summit, hosted by Vertical Solutions and The Front Climbing Club. This multi-day event is tailored toward setters of all experience levels. We love finding new ways to support our setting community while enriching the next generation––whether you're beginning your setter's journey or you’re an experienced head route setter––this event is a chance to connect, discover, and share new ideas and experiences. Join us for daily clinics, presentations, and a nightly happy hour. The Setters Summit consists of the following: - Clinics Instructed by Cody Grodzki and Mike Bockino // Friday January 13th - Saturday January 14th (Curriculum TBA) - Petzl WAH Clinic // Tuesday January 10th - Thursday January 12th // Location: Petzl North America Headquarters, SLC, UT(Registration coming soon on the Petzl PTI website) - Di'namik Open Finals VIP Viewing // Wednesday January 11th // SLC location - USAC Level 1 Clinic // Friday January 13th // SLC location (Registration coming soon on the USAC website) - Proxy Shop Tour (see your favorite hold brands in the making) - Happy Hours (partake in food and beverages while networking with your peers) - Hold Shaping Class with Chris Neal from Capital Climbing Holds - Volume Design Presentation with Vertical Solutions designer Luis Burgos - PARTY! If you want to participate in Setter Summit's social gatherings but only want to take the Petzl Work at Height course or a USA Climbing Level 1 course, you're in luck. Both courses will be available at The Front Climbing Club during the event week. Feel free to sign up for individual courses and attend Setter Summit happy hours as an end-of-the-day bonus! Housing is available from January 11 - 15 and is first come first serve. Please register for the Petzl WAH clinics and the USAC Level 1 on their respective sites.
