Description
My family was given Sam from a home where he was not taken care of so we could make sure he was healthy and ready for a new family.
He was born in February 2021, so he is almost 2 years old. He is really sweet and loves to jump on the couch and curl up to snuggle. He is up to date on his shots, and is fixed. He loves people and is good with toddlers, other dogs (if they’re nice, since he is small), and cats. He is crate trained and will even go to one when given the command “kennel.” He has been making progress with the “sit” command, and will continue to get even better if someone continues to work with him on that if they choose. He is potty trained, but I will say that when we rescued him, he had a little bit of trouble at first in a new place, so he may experience that again.
He is a hypoallergenic dog since he has hair, and not fur. This also means he does not shed, and needs haircuts. Anyone who is wanting to adopt him needs to be able to get his hair cut every ~6 weeks. In our experience over the past 6 months of taking care of him, this is an average of $80 per haircut, so this is not a dog to be taken in lightly.
I am requiring a $50 rehoming fee because this is a type of dog that requires dedication to care. I will include his raised food bowls and a bag of food.

if you are seriously interested. He’s a great little companion and deserves a lot of love.
