Nick performs with energy, feeling and musical integrity. His Quartet is joined by three outstanding Boston area musicians who all have outstanding credentials. Steve Hun/ piano ,Matt Stavrakas/bass, and Peter Moutis/drums. Drawing on the “ American Song Book “ along with today’s “ Jazz Standards” ; The Nick Goumas Quartet’s post Bebop, contemporary straight ahead style and its display of rhythmic and harmonic sense produces some exciting jazz improvisation. Their growing audience has a mixture of musicians and jazz aficionados alike.
