Where: 9400 C International Blvd Oakland Ca When: 6:30pm - 7:30pm Why: The East Bay Permanent Real Estate Cooperative (EB PREC) uses community investment to develop permanently affordable cooperative housing that uses regenerative practices, like wealth re-distribution, to empower sovereign, self-determined Black Indigenous and POC communities to build community wealth. COVID Policy: Attendance will be limited to 20 persons and everyone attending must wear a mask and submit proof of a negative (Rapid, Antigen or PCR) test within 48 hours of the orientation. Please give yourself ample time to park. *Funded by a $28.2 million Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) grant from the California Strategic Growth Council, the Better Neighborhoods, Same Neighbors Initiative brings together the City of Oakland, multiple community organizations, residents and business owners to implement five projects across four transformative elements in a five-square-mile area in deep East Oakland.
