Description
Applauded for their “flat-out amazing” performances and “stunning virtuosity” (Cleveland Classical), the Kenari Quartet is an innovative genre-bending ensemble that plans to demolish all preconceived notions about the saxophone! With a deep passion for collaboration and innovation this quartet is taking top chamber music stages by storm and exposing the surprising range of sonorities of their capable instrument. “Kenari” is a Malay word that can be translated as “Songbird,” and the quartet's goal is to communicate through song. Known for their emotive performances and irresistable on-stage energy, the Kenari Quartet will not only astonish String Theory concertgoers, but also make an impact in our region through our annual Community Engagement Residency.
