Park near 2600 De Forest Avenue, Long Beach where we'll meet up and walk along the Los Angeles River looking for wintering birds such as ducks, geese, and sandpipers! We will walk along a generally even, paved surface as we look into the River. Please bring binoculars if you have them, but we will have a few to share. All ages and skill levels are welcome! It is recommended that you do not leave valuables in your car, break-ins have unfortunately occurred in this area. Bring water and sun protection!
