Description

The popular movie was directed by Jon Favreau and stars Will Ferrell as the title character, a human raised by Santa’s elves. He learns about his origins and heads to New York City to meet his biological father, played by James Caan. The film also stars Zooey Deschanel, Mary Steenburgen, Edward Asner and Bob Newhart. Ferrell's performance as Buddy the Elf was praised by critics and audiences alike, with many calling it one of his best performances. Tickets are $8 or $4 for students. They are available in advance at Eventbrite (see link) and at the venue on the day of each screening when doors and the Varsity Bar open at 6:30. Advance tickets are not available at the venue before doors open on the night of the show. The movies will be screened in the Balcony. Those who are unable to reach the Balcony, will be admitted free and invited to watch the movie on a 60-inch HDTV in the Varsity Bar.
