Come hear, and sing-a-long with an ensemble of all tubas playing familiar Christmas carols and other holiday music. We have had as many as 60 tubas in the ensemble in the past. Parking is free but you must tell the attendant that you are coming to Merry Tuba Christmas. The concert is free for the general public and no tickets are necessary for that, but if you are a tuba player you must pay the $10 fee plus the service charge to help pay for the costs incurred by the two sponsors. A free will offering will be taken to support NOAH, Central's program of Networking Organizing and Advocacy for the Homeless, including a free lunch provided 4 days per week, health, art, and education services. Tuba players must bring their own music and stand, or order a music book from tubachristmas.com. Registration for Tuba Players starts at 8:30 a.m. and rehearsal is from 9-11 am. Concert is at 12 pm.
