Rock Cover Band Looking for Front Man

We are a rock cover band that has been covering almost every classification/genre of rock/blues music, from the early 60s to current, including titles by the following artists: Muse, Black Sabbath, Steppenwolf, Aerosmith, Journey, Tom Petty, Chris Stapleton, Tool, Marshall Tucker Band, Pearl Jam, Joe Walsh, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, RHCP, Clapton, STP, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin -- we're all over the place, and that's what the club owners/clientele say they love about us. They never know what to expect next. Our ages are all over the place, too, so we don't care how old you are (but you must be at least 21), and we don't care if you're black/white, gay/straight, Druid/Christian, whatever. We do prefer a male vocalist, though. And this is a part-time gig, not full-time. The rest of us have day jobs or are college students, so our gigs are weekends only. Must be able to sing well and carry harmonies (we have the backup vocals to make you sound even better), entertain the audience (and the club owners), at least ACT professional on stage (even if you aren't officially a pro), and have the time to both practice on your own to learn your parts and make rehearsals on time to put it all together as a band. If you play guitar (would prefer some lead since we've been doing some dual leads, but rhythm only is fine) that's a plus. Must love rock, and if you're a fan of classic rock, even better. The ability to remain sober during rehearsals and performances will earn you two pluses. We're not anti-drug/anti-alcohol, so what you do on your own time is your business. What you do on the band's time and how you represent the band as a whole, though, is our business. So if you have a drug or alcohol problem that you can't control, please don't waste your time or ours. We are open to learning new material/revising our song list to accommodate what you're already familiar with, but we aren't interested in playing country/honky-tonk, hip-hop, rap, pop, etc., so don't try to change our minds. We're also open to some R&B and a little funk (along the lines of Lenny Kravitz) to get more folks on the dance floor. If you have original material or are interested in working with the rest of the band to create some, we're all for it! The band has been together for 3 years, we have all necessary equipment, lights and a trailer to move the gear. Anything you want to add to the mix is fine.
