The Western Stock Show Association (WSSA) is in search of hard working, highly motivated individuals to join our team for the 2023 National Western Stock Show. Who We Are Founded in 1906, the Western Stock Show Association aims to invest in future generations by promoting youth and community development through livestock and equestrian education, innovation, entertainment, and competition. We are best known for putting on the annual National Western Stock Show, which has called Denver its home since the 1890s. What We Do Seasonal positions are available in several areas, including Ticketing, Parking, Event Operations, and Guest Relations. PLEASE NOTE: These are seasonal positions, primarily for the month of January 2023. Some positions may start as early as mid-December. What You Need Several of our positions require no previous experience of any kind, while others do require more specific skills and qualifications. You can learn more about our requirements on our website or by visiting our Employment Office. Indoor and outdoor positions are available. Candidates should be comfortable being on their feet for long periods of time and working around livestock. Scheduling flexibility is a must for all of our positions – employees may need to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, up to 12 hours per day. Candidates must be available to work the majority of the 16 days of the Stock Show (January 7th – January 22nd). All job offers are contingent on the successful completion of a criminal background check. Pay Rate & Benefits • Pay starting at $17.30/hour. • Paid sick time offered for all positions. • Shift differentials offered – earn more for working nights!
