Come drum with Unidos da Filadelfia Samba School. Led by teacher, Mike Stevens (UPenn, Phillybloco), we are a community of both beginner and advanced samba drummers, all learning polyrhythms and having fun together. Build up your skills to drum at protests and community events, or just enjoy making your brain think in new ways. Get ready to have some "magic ear moments" as you learn different ways of hearing where the one is. Drums provided. This is an adult class, but every now and then a gung-ho teen attends.
