Description
Sadly, my daughter's sweet but timid male guinea pig Joey must be relinquished. Although he has had his basic needs met - food, cage cleaning, etc. -- she has not made enough time for him in terms of people/social time and he is in need of company since his cage mate passed a few months back (much older). Joey is about 2 years & 8 months. He was adopted from Chittenden Humane and is on a waitlist there, but we'd like him to have a nice new home as soon as reasonable. He loves the usual GP stuff: Pellet food mixes, clover, vitamin C yogurt drops, small fruit (grapes, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries) and all manner of veggies (though he doesn't love celery). A small rehoming fee of $45 will include dear Joey, his cage, water bottle, some toys, pigloo (we might have an additional extra?), 1/2 bag shavings for litter, remaining food, Vitamin C drops and remaining timothy hay. New owner must have GP experience, have enough time and patience for him to get to know you (he's very timid since his friend passed) and be able to play with or cuddle him on a regular basis. He does NOT like bunnies, has lived with older kids & parents, but not any dogs or cats. Would prefer household with no cats or young children who might leave top open where he could get hurt. Joey is absolutely NOT pet snake food. He's a nice handsome pig who needs attention and love. Cash only.
