Jackson is a veteran educator and children's book author. Sheila weaves her classroom experiences and fond memories into her humorous and adventurous Jot & Click chapter book series. She also helps build self-esteem in children through her newest rhyming picture book Being Free. Sheila finds great joy in writing stories that resonate with children. She has dedicated over 30 years of her life to the field of education and understands the power of a good book. Sheila hopes that her stories promote positivity, happiness, empathy, and imagination. About the beautiful book: Being Free is a rhyming picture book for children between 4 and 8 years old, but is also enjoyed by kids of all ages. Being Free is an uplifting book about recognizing the freedom that you have inside. Freedom to be you, to use your voice, to have your own style, and even show your silly side.
