Thank you so much for being here! I would love to invite you to my feature film's big screen debut and charity fundraiser (link below for the charity)! Face of the Trinity (FOTT), started off as a short film called Face of the Father (FOTF). The goal was to showcase my martial arts style, 8 Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu, and to raise awareness about human trafficking, specifically child trafficking. FOTF united a large team of extremely talented actors, filmmakers, anti-trafficking organizations, local businesses, and volunteers to achieve that goal. Years after FOTF made its debut on YouTube, its sequel, Face of the Dragon (FOTD), was written. FOTD upped the action from just simple hand-to-hand combat to weapons such as swords, shovels, and even the Atlantic Ocean! In August 2021, I faced a tremendous loss that left me filled with an enormous amount of grief and anger. Through my faith in God, I was inspired to write a third short, and in February of 2022, Face of the Savior (FOTS), completed principal photography. Then, the idea to combine all three short films into one feature length film came to me. I completely re-edited FOTF, finished editing FOTS, and then completed editing FOTD. I wrote a narrative that would be filmed and used to tie all three films together, making them the three acts that would form the feature. It is this feature, that has taken from start to finish 10 years to complete, that I wish to present to you on Sunday, December 4th, 2022. CONTENT WARNING: If Face of the Trinity were given an MPAA rating the film would be rated R for: harsh language, graphic violence, and disturbing violent content. Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. During the event we will be accepting donations and auctioning off props from the movie for our Face of the Rescue (FOTR) campaign. The funds raised will be donated to A21, a global non-profit that is working in 18 locations across 13 countries to eradicate human trafficking. The donations will go towards A21 Rescue initiatives, including things like: - Providing translation services for 24/7 human trafficking hotlines - Sending social workers to care for exploited children - Investing in legal support for survivors to bring their traffickers to justice You can donate straight to FOTR on A21's website via this link: https://www.a21.org/fundraising/joshua-rager/face-of-the-rescue After the showing, the cast and crew will be gathered for a brief Q&A and photos. I'm so excited to see this on the big screen. I worked as a movie theater projectionist for well over a decade and this will be the first time (and hopefully not the last time) that I'll be seeing my movie up there on that screen.
