Making History: One class I started on the beach to get certified has become more than I could have imagined! You see, I NEVER planned on being a yoga master. I was enrolled in the yoga certification class purely for personal development. I credit my teachers Sebai Maa and Seba Dja, a.k.a. the legendary Dr. Muata and Dr. Karen Ashby. In their infinite wisdom, they determined everyone wanting to get certified should start a class. Consequently, I walked onto a beach in Hollywood with four members of the Khepera African History Study Group. I taught the class for seven years. Unbeknownst to me, that class would change my life and the world. Out of that class, I encountered some of the most incredible people you'd ever want to meet. I developed private clients, many of who turned into students. They soon wanted to advance which challenged me to create a certification for them as Basus. For the last fourteen years, a loyal circle of Basus that have maintained. These certification training courses now happen around the world, including Bermuda, the Bahamas, and recently Guadeloupe and Germany. I moved from teaching on the beach in Florida to performing the system in the king's chamber of the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt. It has been an incredible journey, and it just keeps getting better. To celebrate where the Divine has brought us over 21 unbelievable years, I am inviting Basus from around the country to South Florida, where it all began.
