Mattingly's Tavern First Annual Golden Tee 2022 Golf Open sponsored by Coors Light, Oak Ridge Winery, Take 5 Hard Seltzer, Werner's ACE Hardware, Warwick Distillery, and Wine Time Liquors is a non-handicap, two-day event which features 32 Golden Tee players, one-of-a-kind give-aways, a *$1,000 First Place Purse, Fun, & More. Entry fee is $50. Players may register at EventBrite or in-person at Mattingly's Tavern. Entry fee does not include cost-of-play. Foursomes and tournament brackets will be drawn randomly prior to tournament start. Tournament will be played in four rounds. Top two (2) finishers in each foursome will advance to the next round. Each player will play the same course in each round. Course selection will be announced. No mulligans. Round 1 will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Round 2 Quarterfinals will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Round 3 Semifinals will begin at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Championship Round will begin approximately 8 p.m on Sunday, January 8, 2023. The tie-breaker in Rounds 1-3 will be most Great Shot Points. If Great Shot Points are also a tie, players will play sudden death on the back 9 of the course just completed. Tie-breaker in the Championship round will be sudden death only. *Purse and prizes include: 1st Place - $1,000 in cash & prizes. 2nd Place - $300 in cash & prizes. 3rd Place - $100 in cash & prizes. Participant player give-aways include Mattingly's' Tavern gift cards, an Oak Ridge Winery Wine Basket, and much more. Each participant will receive a Commemorative Mattingly's' Tavern Golden Tee Open t-shirt. *Purse is based on the number of participants and is subject to change.
