At any of his performances, you’ll find that JaShaun Peele delivers feel-good vibes, energetic upbeat rhythms, and sultry/romantic love songs without missing a beat. JaShaun can take you down memory lane, back to today, and then beyond while showcasing Jazz, Blues, R&B, Pop and Gospel melodies alike. You can hear his raw talent, love for his craft, and passion being projected through his music. As an eager musician, he is constantly studying his technique and working diligently to bring forth music with meaning and substance, as well as delivering what is pleasing to the most discerning and astute ear. Having become established as a premiere saxophonist on the East Coast, JaShaun has appeared at many venues, events and festivals. He has opened for The Temptations Review as well as Musiq Soulchild and Letoya Luckett. JaShaun has also played alongside jazz trumpeter Melvin Miller, keyboardist Marcus Johnson, fellow saxophonist Marcus Anderson and other jazz artists, gospel artists, as well as many others. With the March 2016 release of JaShaun’s debut album, entitled No Boundaries, he has been able to combine his passion, vision, and skill all into ten tracks that take you on a musical journey. As of today, JaShaun has begun work on his sophomore album that he says will be an even greater embodiment of who he is as a musical artist. JaShaun hails from North Carolina where he started playing the saxophone at the ripe age of 7. Through the years, he has grown into the saxophone and his passion for the saxophone has grown even more. JaShaun and his band travel the East Coast bringing music to all that enjoy his sound while also carving his niche in the smooth jazz community. While it may seem like he is merely warming up, watch out because once JaShaun hits full stride he plans to take jazz to unprecedented musical heights.
