What is it? A group class with a baby shower mixed in! This class is designed to help you learn more about prenatal and postnatal health. We will provide you with tips to take better care of yourself and baby. As well as resources to help you along the way. This is for individuals are pregnant in their 2nd or 3rd trimester or are within six months postpartum. What will you learn? You will learn about prenatal care, postpartum care and caring for baby.Healthy Eating – see how small changes to diet can make a big difference in your healthBeing Active- discover ways to add movement to your daily routineTaking prenatal vitamins- learn more about the benefits of prenatal careMonitoring - checking your blood sugar, blood pressure, watching your weightHealthy Coping – dealing with your pregnancy and baby in a healthy manner. Problem solving – handling changes in your routine and family Reducing Risks – become aware of potential health risks that can cause harm and how to help prevent themWho can join? Any expecting mom, new mom or anyone planning to be a mom is welcome to join.
