The 7th Annual New Year’s Eve Party & Supply Drive for the Homeless is an opportunity for us not to forget that everybody loves a good party!!! This New Year’s Eve the WHOLE WORLD will be PARTING; so let’s not forget the less fortunate among us (who also love to party). Any of us could be the homeless at any time based on circumstances; this New Year’s Eve let’s take the opportunity to give them some much needed assistance and show them that we all look forward to better things for 2023!!! Live Music!!! Free BBQ!!! Dancing!!! Socializing!!! We are asking that you share your TIME, TALENT & CHARITY. Last year’s event was SPECTACULAR!!! The Support and Love that was shown was Unbelievable. So with that being said… LET’S MAKE THIS YEAR EVEN BETTER!!! We would like to streamline the event this year by asking that we limit the donations to the following: TIME – FOOD – ASSISTANCE We need Volunteers and Artist to share… TIME: 1. Assist with passing out donations and preparing food, 2. Interact with the homeless by siting and talking with them, dancing, playing board games, etc. 3. Perform on stage and share your talent to entertain everyone FOOD: 1. We will be BBQing on-site so we are asking for donations of food items to feed to the people during the event. 2. Donations of pre-packaged food items that can be kept on the person are also requested. Small pre-packaged items Fruit cups Single serve cans of Juice, V8, etc. Tuna and crackers Cookies & Crackers Apples & Oranges ASSISTANCE: This year we are asking for SPECIFIC ITEMS OF ASSISTANCE. Because the weather is changing we want assist where the need is most critical. Your donations are going directly to the homeless themselves and not charity originations, so keep in mind that they don’t have accommodations to store a number of things. So with that being said, this year we are asking that the following items be donated. Backpacks... we need a lot of Backpacks. Gloves Hats Coats Scarfs Thermal underwear (Tops & Bottoms) Socks Blankets Parkas and Rain Gear Personal Hygiene items (Tooth brush, deodorant, etc.) Boots And Backpacks, don't forget BACKPACKS. Groups and Churches feel free to donate your time and resources!!!! Just come and do whatever you can to help!!!
