Driver selects enough customers from route sheet to cover 40% of the route that can be done in 1 hour for at least 24 customers within the 11-mile route. There are 83 drops on the entire route. Printed route driving instructions are included. Special training part on second day: Driver joins up for an instructor-led training on parts of the route requiring extra knowledge (30 – 45 minutes) Driver completes rest of route, or about 60%, demonstrating that that part of route can be completed in 1.5 hours. The entire training process can be completed in as few as 2 days or as many as 6 days. I rate the entire route as taking 1.75 hours so there is enough time to both sections in 2.5 hours when adding them together.
