I am looking for committed home health attendants to perform non-medical tasks for a male quadriplegic. Attendants must be compassionate, dependable, and have reliable transportation to report to work each day. This job is 7 days a week. Morning Shift Responsibilities: - Perform bed bath weekday mornings - Dress client - Transfer from bed to wheelchair using a hoyer lift - Prepare and feed breakfast - Light housekeeping - Meal preparation with assistance from client - Empty leg bag - Drive to gym (M,W,F) and doctor appointments when necessary. - Feed lunch Evening Shift Responsibilities: - Transfer from wheelchair to bed. - Tasks associated with getting client ready for bed. - Rinse leg bag and compression stockings - Shower (Friday evening only) Requirements and Skills: - No prior home health attendant experience needed. Must be open to learning and following instructions. - Respectful and compassionate - Strong ethics - Physical endurance - Punctual arrival - Background check Work Days/Hours Morning Shift: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm Saturday: 9:00am - 11:00am Sunday: 8:00am - 10:00am Work Days/Hours Evening Shift: Sunday - Saturday: 7:00pm - 9:00pm *Note: You will paid for all advertised hours, however, you may not be required to stay the whole time. Most evenings take less than 1 hour to complete tasks. Job is paid bi-weekly in cash. Location in Coppell. Applicant should live in surrounding areas, Lewisville, Carrollton, Grapevine, Irving.
