Are you outgoing? Can you “bring the fun?” If so, then we’re looking for YOU! We’re Sporcle Events! You might know about our totally addicting website at sporcle.com – apologies to your boss for all the time you’ve wasted at work playing our quizzes. Sporcle Events presents the best bar trivia around and we are looking for exciting people like you to host our in-person events at bars and restaurants! What do you need to do? Every week – same day and time – we want you to be Jr. Alex Trebek with flair. We provide the paid training, equipment, and content; you provide the personality and the playlist to keep heads bobbing while players are thinking about their answers. And since this is YOUR gig, you’ll need to be reliable. After all, you don’t want to disappoint your fans, do you? Why should I work for Sporcle Events? Not to toot our own horn, but we’re a pretty big deal. Our website quizzes have been played over 4 billion times, and our totally amazing hosts have over 100,000 events under their belts. Just remember, this is your time to shine and show us what you’ve got! What’s the catch? Because our clients are mostly bars (and restaurants), you need to be at least 21 years old You should be comfortable with public speaking, have excellent communication skills, be energetic, and be able to multi-task You must have a working laptop and be moderately computer-savvy AND you should be able to transport and lift approximately 35 pounds (speaker/equipment) What’s the pay? New hosts make $60-$80 per weekly 2-hour event (plus approximately 1 hour of prep time). Stick with us for a bit, and you can earn up to $100 per night, host more days per week, and host private events like birthday parties and company get-togethers! Our venue partners agree to follow CDC guidelines before we agree to service.
