Lumber Yard Picker / Customer Service Associate Wendell Builders Supply in Wendell, N.C. is part of the Goldsboro Builders Supply Family of Companies. We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and customer service skills to work in the lumber yard and warehouse. You will be responsible for building loads for delivery and for greeting customers, answering questions about lumber/building materials, and assisting them in making informed building product selections. The successful candidate will be able to meet and exceed customer expectations while working effectively within our fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities: • Build loads for delivery • Stock lumber • Carry lumber • Stack lumber • Measure lumber • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently • Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized lumber yard/warehouse • Communicate effectively with team and customers • Other duties as assigned Working environment/conditions: Must be able to handle and load lumber and building materials under the following conditions: • Must be able to work outside in all seasons (temperature ranges from extreme heat/humidity to extreme cold) • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift 100 lbs • Must be able to stoop / bend repeatedly
