Diamond Contracting Corp is a locally owned company in the Denver Metro area. We are an Underground Utility Contractor founded in 1968 and located in Arvada, Colorado specializing in water, sewer, and storm pipe installation. We are looking for a full-time (40+ hrs/week) Traffic Control Supervisor to lead our traffic control crews. Requirements of this position are as follows: Two years experience in Traffic Management Supervisory experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of local, state, federal traffic laws and regulations Ability to read and interpret traffic engineering plans and traffic control plans Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and organization skills Must be able to think quickly and make decisions under pressure Must be able to lift 80 pounds on a daily and continual basis. As a TCS you would be responsible for the coordination and supervision of all traffic control activities on our projects. This includes coordinating with law enforcement and other agencies, and helping with and overseeing the installation of traffic control devices. You will be expected to schedule and assign work to traffic control personnel (flaggers), inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, investigate incidents to determine causes and develop corrective measures, train new employees in work procedures, resolve grievances and complaints in the field, maintain time keeping for you and other traffic control personnel, enforce company policies and safety regulations, effectively communicate with company personnel and the public, monitor/manage inventory of traffic control supplies, equipment, and devices, and perform physically demanding work in the elements. Starting pay: $18-$25/HR DOQ with Overtime (1.5x) after 40 hours in the work week. Paid weekly, Benefits include: medical, dental, vision after 60 days of employment in which company pays half of premium. Two weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
