I have a goal. In theory it’s a really simple, easily achievable goal. I’d like to play a set at iSquare as the bassist in a rock band. That musical bar really couldn’t be set any lower. After that I’d like to achieve world domination, but one thing at a time. I’m a bassist in my mid-50s who plays rock. I have a job so in between iSquare and world domination it would be nice to play gigs quarterly, monthly but not more often. Just something to have fun with, not base a career on (still need to figure out the world domination financials, I’ll have to get back to you on that). I have decent equipment, transportation and a can-do attitude which is required for any kind of geo-political coup. I can’t sing worth a shit but honestly how many global dictators can? I’d like to join a band of peers who are of similar minds with similar goals. Being able to detect sarcasm and (attempted) humor are a plus. I live dangerously close to the House of Guitars so keeping within Monroe County is preferred.
