Description
Looking for someone with both Plumbing and Electric skills & experience to remove a water heater and install a tankless water heater. You will be working with PEX-A pipes/tools, so that no welding will be required. I have all the tools required for the job, but you're welcome to bring any tools that you're comfortable working with.
REQUIREMENT
Must have a truck or van that can haul a 12-foot drain pipe
Must have experience working with plumbing and wires
Must be skinny (I know this is a weird one, but only skinny people can fit through my crawlspace entrance, and a chunk of the plumbing work needs to happen in the crawlspace).
ELECTRIC
Work involves installing two new tandem breakers to make space for a 3-pole 50-Amp breaker required for the new water heater, as well as feeding the wire to the new heater's location.
PLUMBING
Work involves extending drain pipes & water pipes to the new location (a big portion of this happens in the crawlspace).
Involves
OTHER:
Take the old water heater with you (don't care what you do with it), but I'd expect you to dispose of it properly.
Manual for new waterless heater:
TLDR; (please read the whole thing b4 contacting)
The job is to pass by a hardware store on your way here to pick up a few small things. You will disconnect and remove the old water heater and install the new one a few feet away from where the old one is. The new water heater uses a different type of wire and breakers than the current one, so work will need to be done to make room in the circuit breaker, and the new wire will be fed through replacing the old one.
