The featured guest speaker is Deon Hampton, national reporter for NBC News Digital. He is a two-time national award winner who covered the 2020 Presidential Election for NBC News. As an investigative reporter in Ohio, he uncovered nearly 300 COVID-19 deaths inside nursing homes that the governor did not want publicly disclosed. For his work, he received best investigation awards from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists and the Press Club of Cleveland. He is a former reporter for the Tulsa World and is a graduate of Langston University.
