Join AIA architect Chas Schreckenberger as he shares his role working at local sacred structures in Summit County on this special event as part of the Society's Rubber City Road Rally series for 2022.
The event is free and open to the public with donations suggested that will be shared between the host sites. Guests will be given driving snacks and all are welcome to gather at the conclusion at St. Bernard's hall for the Society's signature wassail and a silent auction.
This is not a competitive road rally. Participants will be given driving instructions to gather at each location along the route to learn from Chas details and behind the scene stories relating to the architecture of the structure.
Sacred Structures of Summit County was founded by Bob Hutchison, Society board director and premier sponsor of the Rubber City Road Rally series with Lora Suttles and Tom Hutchison. The final leg of Trains, Planes and Automobiles will be held in spring 2023 in conjunction with the Roy Firestone Architectural Forum Study Club.
