Nova - Looking to Rehome

Female, 4yrs, 30lbs, Brown with Black accents Shots up to date, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained We found Nova as a puppy on the side of the road. Nova was very nervous at first. She still has nervous tendencies, but has since grown to love the people and the home she lives in. Nova loves receiving pets/love from anyone. She's a very calm/docile dog, and takes naps most of the day. She loves crinkly toys and any toy she can rip stuffing out of. She also loves rib bones and rawhides. Nova is guessed by her vet to be born around mid-September in 2018. Every year, we have chosen to celebrate her birthday on September 21st with her favorite kind of toy and a rib bone. After having our daughter, we saw small signs of aggression/protection related to food from Nova towards our baby. The occasional growl and protective behavior. Other than around our baby, she has shown no signs of aggression near any other children we have had in our home, nor adults. Since we have a friend's toddler who suffered from a serious dog attack from their own german shepherd, we're taking the precautions early and hoping to find a home that Nova would be more comfortable in. She has been loved by many children on walks, but would probably do best if there were no babies/toddlers in the home.
