Keeping the food hall clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware and plates, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.  The careful use of the dish-washing machine, maintaining it in a hygienic condition  To ensure the safe and hygienic use of the freight elevator, waste disposal, and dish washer  Movement of food and beverage deliveries to their appropriate storage area  Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, both in working methods and personal hygiene  Close liaison with the Chefs, Dining Hall staff and other Kitchen Porters  Such other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Head of Department  To report any damage/shortages and equipment faults to the Supervisor
