Keeping the food hall clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware and plates, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
The careful use of the dish-washing machine, maintaining it in a hygienic condition
To ensure the safe and hygienic use of the freight elevator, waste disposal, and dish washer
Movement of food and beverage deliveries to their appropriate storage area
Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, both in working methods and personal hygiene
Close liaison with the Chefs, Dining Hall staff and other Kitchen Porters
Such other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Head of Department
To report any damage/shortages and equipment faults to the Supervisor
