Make a perfect handmade gift this holiday season. Whether you come by yourself or bring your significant other, a friend or a family member, learn to make a ceramic mug and crochet a mug cozy in this class. Skill Level: No prior experience needed for this class. What to Expect: During the first half of the class, you will learn how to make a mug using clay slab, attach a handle and make a custom ceramic button (for the mug cozy). In the second half, you will learn basic crochet techniques and you will crochet a mug cozy. All materials and tools will be provided. We will glaze and fire your mugs and you will be informed once your mugs are ready for pick-up. Once fired, the mugs will be food safe and microwave safe. FAQs: - Is there an age limit to enter the event? The minimum age for participants is 13 years old with a participating guardian or 18 otherwise. - What are my parking options at Sunset Canyon Pottery? We are located right behind Austin Pets Alive on Burnet Road. There are a few parking spots behind Austin Pets Alive or you can also park at Walgreens next to the studio. - Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
