Perfect for anyone with little or no experience with the potter’s wheel, in this class you will make your own cups and bowls from scratch! We will focus on everything from the basics of “wedging”, “centering”, and “throwing”. Come learn a new skill or revisit an old hobby with this fun hands-on class! Your chosen pieces will be glazed and fired and you will be informed once your pieces are ready for pick-up. Once fired, the pieces will be food safe and microwave safe. FAQs: - Is there an age limit to enter the event? The minimum age for participants is 13 years old with a participating guardian or 18 otherwise. - What are my parking options at Sunset Canyon Pottery? We are located right behind Austin Pets Alive on Burnet Road. There are a few parking spots behind Austin Pets Alive or you can also park at Walgreens next to the studio. - Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? Due to the nature of the class, attendees arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed in the class.
