Compensation: $580 for 6 hour event/ $650 for 7 hours event. Mobile Disc Jockey Service is hiring bilingual and cultural Mobile DJs for private ballroom events. We service Pelazzio an all-inclusive, affordable reception venue that provides event/service packages for larger scale events and galas. We are looking for someone Spanish-bilingual and is comfortable performing with all groups of people in the surrounding Houston area. We need DJs with previous experience who can understand the fundamentals of working these types of events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Host and create a great atmosphere for event guests -Provide courteous, professional and quality DJ entertainment and event hosting services -Responsible for pre-event communication/coordination with clients -Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees. -Follow all operating policies and procedures. -Adhere to all company policies of quality, performance, and attendance. Activities -Providing music at events -Developing playlists -Interacting with public at parties -Playing music at radio stations -Mixing music tracks Required Qualifications: -Prior experience as an private event DJ/MC preferred. -Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance with good communication skills. -Must have reliable transportation to and from Pelazzio Reception Venue for scheduled shifts. -Must provide own equipment. -Must have the ability to read, write and understand English and Spanish/other language in a working environment. -Ability to DJ and MC in English and Spanish/other language. -Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance that conveys professionalism at all times. -Friendly, outgoing, personable personality. -Ability to take direction well and work well with others. -Availability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and/or occasional holiday events.
