Job Description West Locating Service is looking for motivated and dependable locating technicians. Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate. Job Outline: • The position involves the locating of underground utilities, which include electric, gas, water, sewer, cable TV and telecommunications. • This position is well suited to individuals who enjoy working in an outdoor environment and in all weather conditions. • Must be able to bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. • 100% paid training. • Once trained, locators are entrusted with a company vehicle, fuel card and all necessary tools to perform their job. • Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday • Must be available to work overtime and weekends (as needed) • Hourly pay is based on experience. Our Qualifications: • Must be dependable and on time with reliable transportation to and from work. • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check for job site clearance. • Valid driver's license with a 7-year clean driving record. • Essential written, verbal, interpersonal and computing skills.
