Wild Ridge and Mill Run Golf Course Maintenance Wild Ridge is a links style 18-hole golf course and Mill Run is a traditional 18-hole golf course with flat greens, tees, and fairways. Wild Ridge is known for being the best public golf course in the Eau Claire County. Wild Ridge was built in 1999 and Mill Run was built in 1989. The entire property stretches 700 acres across the west side of Eau Claire. Job Title: Golf Course Greenskeeper Job Duration: March-November, full-time and part-time positions available Pay Rate: $12.00-$15.00/hour Job Description: The Golf Course Greenskeeper is responsible for detail work. The Greenskeeper will have to operate a weed whip, backpack blower, fly mowers, and other small engine equipment. This is a 40 hour per week position from 5:30am-1:30pm on Monday through Friday. Overtime hours are available during the weekends, employee can work up to 8 overtime hours per pay period. Part time positions are 4-hour shifts from 5:30am-9:30am or from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Part time positions must work a minimum of 12 hours per week. Specific duties of a Greenkeeper include: - Maintaining sand traps and lake edges - Filling divots - Push mowing and fly mowing - Garbage removal Job Requirements: Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, and a reliable source of transportation. No previous experience is needed. Candidate must have a high attention to detail and take pride in their work.
