I was in the Black Ford F-250. The white Honda had been swerving back & fourth from the fast lane to the breakdown lane driving like an ass trying to get through the 50mph-0mph stop and go. As he flew up the breakdown lane & violently cut in on me, I felt him tap my bumper with his 1/4 panel. In my panic, I might have turned into him instead of slamming on my brakes but there was a truck right behind me and another right next to me so I was concerned about causing a major accident. I turned him a little sideways but he straightened out once I regained control and let off the gas. Unfortunately, he slammed on his brakes to give me an old fashioned “brake check” but in my panic with a semi right behind me, I might have hit the gas hard instead of brakes (my mistake)& rammed him 2-3 times before we came to a stop. He flipped out & tried to punch me through my 1/2 opened window but cut his knuckles open instead (he kept making bad decisions that day). State police arrived but just as one was about to ticket both of us, the other officer said “two trick drivers called in as witnesses”😳. After the Sargent called both truck drivers, he came back & said that he spoke with the witnesses who said I did everything in my power to avoid the accident! He also said I could have him arrested for assault and reckless endangerment, I told the officer that I didn’t want to waste his time & that I was sure he had much more important things to do.
