Hello, I am reposting this add because homes I thought were lined up have fallen through. I can not stress enough that this will be a pick-up / drop-off situation only, as due to circumstances out of my current control, I can not allow anyone into my home at this time. Luna is a take her as you see her kind of cat. I understand that preferably there would be a meet and greet to see if perspective owners and pets are compatible, but Luna needs a specific home where it will be understood that she is shy and cautious and will need time to acclimate to both you and her new environment. Upon first meeting any cat with such trauma, you will notice that they want to feel love, but they are fearful. Luna needs a home where it is understood that she is not like other more social cats and she may never be a lap cat. She nearly lost the tip of her tail due to frost, so the hair is a bit thin there, but her coat is growing back well and will most likely continue to heal and change. She deserves a chance like all of us do. If you are aware of what it takes to care for a special needs cat then please don’t hesitate to contact me. Repost: I have an Oriental Mix Female cat that I am posting for FREE. She is a lovely tiger girl but I can no longer house her. This was supposed to be short term but I’ve not had luck in finding her a home, as all the rescue organizations I have contacted are completely full! Luna is a sweet girl that just needs some love and a home of her own. She was thrown out by her previous owners and is terrified to be put back out, but I just don’t know what to do! She has to go today!! I have called all the rescues and shelters I can find and have been told they are all full and shelters that were low kill have had to turn to very high kill. I will not put her back outside but will have to place her in a shelter if I can not find her a home, and she will never find a home in an environment like that and unfortunately was told that if pets aren’t cuddly from the start, they will be first to be put down in the first few hours of their stay. It is very disheartening… I have run out of all other options at this point.. Please won’t you give this little girl a warm home for the winter?? I am located in Sterling Heights, Michigan - Macomb County. Luna is not spayed and is not microchipped. I do not know her past but I believe her to have been abused by previous owners. She has given in to pets and attention and now thrives on her gentle daily cuddles. She behaves like an older little lady and prefers to birdwatch most of all, but I believe that may be due to her sad past. She does well with other cats but is still learning to trust men. She has really come out of her shell since being in a cozy home ❤️ Bless you and yours and thank you so much for reading this!
