Introduction: 3V Company is looking for dedicated individuals to fill the vacant position of Building Construction Project Manager in our ever-growing company. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience and can perform the standard duties associated with Building Construction Project Management in the Construction Industry, but additionally, we want someone who also has previous experience and possesses the skill set that is gained from spending time in the field (I.E. Supervisor, Superintendent, etc.). Experience with millwork is wanted and helpful but we will consider the right candidate with minimal millwork experience if they can show the desire to learn with the proper past job experience and skillset. A Degree in Project Management and a PMP are ideal but not required, as equivalent work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. The job position will require travel (<20%). The typical day-to-day responsibilities of the job will be based at our office and manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. We will consider candidates who are willing to relocate at their own expense. Job Requirements: - Coordinate, schedule and oversee multiple projects to ensure the flawless execution - Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope, and within budget - Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives to ensure technical feasibility - Ensure resource availability and allocation - Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress - Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques - Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques - Report and escalate to management as needed - Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders - Perform risk management to minimize potential risks - Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels - Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals - Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis - Use and continually develop leadership skills - Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency - Perform other related duties as assigned Job Qualifications: - Construction and/or Millwork Experience is a MUST - MUST BE ABLE TO READ & INTERPRET DRAWINGS, BLUEPRINTS & SPECIFICATIONS - Proven working experience in project management - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus - Experience in RFIs & Change Orders - Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience - Experience with project management software tools
