I have tens of thousands of miles ridden on the streets of New York, hundreds of streets weaved through, thousands of cars passed, avoided, and dodged, plenty of close calls to have my mother faint from viewing. I also have a number of bicycle accidents to have learned from. Sense of direction? Check. Knowledge of the bike paths? Check. Bicycling in various weather conditions? Check.
I am offering a free (tip as you feel appropriate) 'Learn How to Bike in New York with Confidence' session to the first three (3) who reach out, men and women alike (and all else in between) all invited to reach out.
I hear too often people who love to bike, many who are transplants from Europe, Asia or other States, or Tri-Staters, are afraid to weave through the New York traffic, and have sworn they won't get on a bike in New York City. It breaks my heart, but at the same time, I fully get where you come from!
I will teach you some lesser known tips and tricks (some which can be life-saving), as well as basic "defense" bicycling...
Just reach out to me and we can schedule a time! We will meet during the day and speak for a few minutes, and then take to low pressure bicycling, and then some.
Safe biking everyone!
