RUSS21 This eight-week cryptologic pre-Intermediate course will enhance students’ ability to comprehend authentic materials of Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) level 1+ to 2. The focus of this course is reading and listening. It covers a wide range of topics: Module 1 International Relations Module 2 Domestic Politics Module 3 Economy Module 4 Defense Module 5 Environmental Issues Module 6 Science, Technology, Space Module 7 Social Issues Module 8 Culture The course is based on authentic materials. Students will learn to: Use new vocabulary related to the topic Understand authentic Russian news The course is designed to enhance comprehension of formal Russian language. This course is taught in Russian. Required Course Materials: Instructor provided To sign up for the course, please provide the proof of ILR level 1/1+. The schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4.30pm-6.30pm Start date: January 2, 2023. Tuition: $1,800 10%military discount ​
